GOD IS GOOD

On Thursday, April 24, 2008 Richard got his electric arm. Evangeline prayed the quote that we should “Give thanks in all things” and then John Austin brought out a box of stuff with Richard’s arm hidden in the bottom. He kept asking if Richard needed any T shirts or clothes or if he needed a Christmas snowman that was in the box. Richard could not understand why we kept asking him to look in the box. Finally he saw the shoulder strap of his arm, jumped up and went to put it on.  He was so excited.        Now we wait for a battery charger......

Special thanks to Dr. Cheri and Johnny Green for helping with Richard’s prosthetic arm. We have gotten to know Richard through the outreach where he has been staying on the levee near the bridge. Richard is a great guy who lost his arm in a bad motorcycle accident about 20 years ago and damaged his arm jumping off a train. Praise The Lord and pray that God will bless Dr. Cheri for her time and service. May He send more Kingdom Workers and Kingdom Doctors like her!!!

Richard said that Dr. Cheri was the first Doctor who ever gave him a HUG.   SO the next time you see Dr. Cheri and Johnny please give them a big HUG and a thank you from Richard!!! NOW how is that for being a HEALING PLACE FOR A HURTING WORLD !!!
